Dexion Slotted Angle

Description

First introduced in 1947, Dexion Slotted Angle is a general purpose product. A perfect everyday answer for those storage or support requirements, where either something bespoke is required or when a purpose built item isn’t suitable.

The design of the angle and the hole spacing means that no matter what sections are being used, they can be joined together. The position and size of the slots allows for the maximum possible number of bolt connections. Whether the requirement is in a warehouse, on a construction site or in a factory, Dexion Slotted Angle can provide the quick and easy solution that you can assemble yourself.

Dexion Slotted Angle

Dexion Slotted Angle, available in 4 sizes and 2 lengths, can be quickly and easily cut to size then bolted together to form any number of different structures. These can be readily modified or completely dismantled and the components re-used.

It can be used to make benches, security cages, access platforms, test rigs, temporary partitioning, shelving and to support pipe work, cladding and other building other services and far more.

Dexion Slotted Angle

Dexion Slotted Angle is available in four sizes designed to suite every need.

The lighter 140 (36x36mm and 1.75mm thick) and 160 (41x41mm and 2mm thick) angles are available in standard lengths of 2134mm and 3048mm while the larger 225 (41x62mm and 2mm thick) and 260 (44x66mm and 2.5mm thick) sections are 3048mm long.

Channel Section

There is also a 345 channel section (43mmx87mm) for heavier duty applications and a 38mm wide flat strap section which can be used to provide cross bracing. [Please contact us to check availablity.]

Colour

All Dexion Slotted Angles are either powder coated dark grey or galvanized metal, while the flat strap has a light grey finish.

Bracing

Corner plates are available to provide bracing at the angle joints and there are also single and double base plates. Base plates are fitted to the end of vertical struts to protect the floor or if your structure needs to be fixed down.

Shelves

Dexion Slotted Angles can also be used in conjunction with our range of MK6 steel shelves. These shelves come in lengths of 914, 991 and 1219mm and depths of 305, 381, 457, 610, 762 and 914mm.
Load capacities range from 180kg to 270kg depending on the size and duty of the shelf.
